FBI Weaponized Against American People

Democrats and Vern Buchanan Reward FBI With $300 Million Headquarters

“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” --Soviet secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria

This expression describes a system of justice in any totalitarian regime.  Congress has failed to hold the FBI accountable, resulting in an abuse of power. And now our justice system has, in many ways, been turned into a political weapon.

In this interview on my Eddie-torial Podcast, FBI whistleblower, Steve Friend describes some shocking details. It is essential to understand the fundamental difference between criminal and intelligence investigations. Criminal investigations start with an alleged crime and proceed a conclusion with the criminal punished. An intelligence investigation starts with a person and continues investigating the person with no conclusion other than more and more surveillance of American citizens. Now let’s combine these Stalin-like operating procedures with Joe Biden’s own words:

Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre went on to condemn a major part of the American electorate on behalf of President Biden.

The president thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy. The MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. That is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights.

The combination of rhetoric and procedures does not bode well for the American people to regain trust in the FBI.

What Steve Friend describes here isn’t the complete picture of all of the FBI's misdeeds against the trust of the American people’s trust. Speaker Mike Johnson gives a thorough synopsis of the FBI’s rapid loss of trust.

And while it may feel good to watch Christopher Wray receive a tongue-lashing in Congress. It is entirely incomplete if it isn’t followed up with consequences.

The opportunity to move from words to actions came with the introduction of House Bill H.Amdt. 687 to H.R. 4664, an amendment to prohibit the use of $300 million in federal funds for a new headquarters for the FBI.

To many conservatives' dismay, Vern Buchanan joined with the Democrats and a minority of feckless Republicans to reward the FBI's transition from a trusted American institution into a new Gestapo of the West.

While the situation may seem hopeless, I assure you it isn’t. What is happening now is encouraging. We will see more difficult votes with a new speaker than we would have previously. These votes will provide visibility and accountability to constituents. We the People, will have more visibility than before into the corruption that is happening in Washington. It is now up to us to hold our representatives accountable when they won’t hold corrupt bureaucracies accountable.
