My Candidacy for US Congress in Florida's 16th District

My name is Eddie Speir and I am running for U.S. Congress in the 16th District of Florida. There comes a time when the country needs good people to stand up and fight against evil. That time is now. Our American system of freedom, individual rights, and of limited government is under assault. The Woke Left and our entrenched, corrupt political class are waging war against the traditional American family, against faith, and our communities, and too many of our elected leaders are missing in action.

I believe the people of District 16 are dismayed by the destructive nature of the Democratic Party leadership, their Marxist members in Congress, and the Deep State. We are alarmed by the success they have had in subverting the values, principles, and traditions that we hold dear. We are not well represented in this struggle against the dark forces arrayed before us.

When I think of our current Congressman, Vern Buchanan, I can’t tell the difference between him and the rest of the Washington elite. Vern Buchanan has been in Congress since 2007. And in these last 16 years, we have witnessed a shocking erosion of our individual rights and liberties. Where has Vern Buchanan been? I have heard Vern Buchanan is a statesman for Republican Party, but he appears to be more of a statesman for the status quo. We need more.

I am running to bring Bold Truth, American Inspiration, and Revolutionary Courage to Washington.

Bold Truth

People in Washington have corrupted themselves and hidden behind lies. The truth by its very nature attacks the lies and shines a light on the darkness within which the liars operate. People who lie are emboldened by surrounding themselves with other people who have covered themselves in similar lies. And these people who have masked their true existence in lies will have a violent reaction to the truth. Perhaps that is why there is no mention of pedophiles, WEF’s Great Reset, or other nefarious topics.

Our federal government is dangerously close to losing the consent of the governed of the 16th Congressional District of Florida. The long train of abuses and usurpations has manifested and revealed an unholy design that reduces us to second-class citizens. We now have a two-tier system of justice. Justice is supposed to be blind, but the corrupt Democrat Party, with the quiet acquiescence of our Republican leaders, has weaponized the justice system against Americans. They have deployed the FBI, CIA, IRS, and the Department of Justice to intimidate any who oppose their anti-American agenda.

We are teetering on the precipice of partisan authoritarianism and the same group of politicians we keep sending back to Washington simply are not up to the task of reversing this dark, tyrannical course. I will shine the light of truth on these acts and many other corruptions. I will work to restore a true American system of justice that is open, transparent, and free from political bias and enmity.

American Inspiration

There has never been in history a nation as inspirational as the United States of America. Looking to God, our Creator, for protection and strength as the Founders did, I am emboldened to move forward and continue the revolution against tyranny. For more than two centuries, American patriots have given their last full measure of devotion to protect and defend the freedoms of their fellow citizens. These courageous men and women have brought life to Patrick Henry’s immortal words, “Give me liberty or give me death.” I have no choice but to stand and fight for this great American experiment in a world where the chains of bondage tighten around those who wish to live free. I pray that this nation under God will have an awakening of freedom and that the government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from this earth.

Revolutionary Courage

Speaking the truth and exposing lies to uphold American values takes courage.

In four months of serving as a Trustee at New College of Florida, I have demonstrated the beginning of the courage that will be needed. It is with the same deep conviction and stern resolve that I commit to courageous service.

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers?

Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

This struggle is too important to leave to others, especially those who have revealed themselves as not up to the task of fighting and winning. I hope you will join me in this worthy endeavor.
