I agree with a request for an apology! It’s atrocious. In fact, only the most degraded humans in Jonathan Swift’s famous example of repulsive humans behave with such scatological impurity. (He calls them Yahoos.) Published in a sophisticated newspaper, the idea suggests New College students should degrade themselves thusly toward a college trustee, a respected position, chosen to make decisions during this college’s steep dive toward its own oblivion.

You do understand the distinction between speech and violence, i.e., what the post was advocating? Or is that another of those distinctions you want to nihilistically deconstruct? People on the left like to claim that their violence is speech, and that any speech against them is violence.

Why not ask the campus police - have any students EVER had a death threat recorded against them ? The answer - I checked - is NO! Never in the history of the college and yet “ they” are so worried about “ their safety” here ? Who is Chicken little crying “ the sky is falling?” The conservative whose first meeting on campus was almost cancelled BY a PROVOST because of a death threat ? Or a group that represent .01 or less of the American citizens who are crying “ The Sky IS Falling?”
Try to see through the thick wall of your WOKE propaganda because there was a death threat in a country that has experienced mass shootings almost daily in 2023 ! Against a conservative courageous enough to continue in spite of a. A real threat or b. An attempt to stop a meeting and cold-cock a change that needs to be made in the American democratic process: here’s our freedom goals concisely expressed : majority rule with minority rights. Majority is not .01 or less percent of us; therefore this tiny minority does not have the right to control the English language and force nurseries to fail to label newborns by their sex! Minority rights means nobody will ever be able to harm or physically or emotionally bully anyone not in the majority. Nobody. The law is beginning to charge policemen with murder when one or a group of them kills an innocent citizen.
As for a minority who has suffered inconsolably by the unfair unreasonable circumstances of slavery - the Black citizens, did you know that this very large minority is underrepresented at New College? 4 percent! Let us fix the true moral inconsistencies of our citizenry and not flip our “ majority rule, minority rights “ so that the few of the few can manipulate language for us all - that my friends IS tyranny !
