Mr. Speir, please don't succumb to this leftist tactic by spending time and effort on defense - go on OFFENSE! Buchanan just voted for the final nail in our collective coffin with his YES vote on a $1.2 TRILLION spending bill! Everywhere you go, just tell the truth about Chamber of Commerce Vern selling us out.

“Vern Buchanan and the establishment of UniParty bureaucrats in D.C. have deployed their attack dogs in the media once again.”

This is not a comment a serious person makes.

Vern Buchanan is one of the few sane Republican representatives Florida has left in Congress and this attack is a baseless attempt to deflect what the article lays out.

How is it baseless? I have clearly shown his campaign manager openly attempting to tattle on me to the IRS based on a completely bogus charge of a 501c3 endorsing me. The article makes plain what the SHT couldn't grasp. So I'll say it again. I own the building and lease it to the school. That is NOT the same thing as the school endorsing me as a candidate.

Or is it baseless because you don't believe that the SHT is bias? Or is it baseless because you like Vern and think that I will be like Anna Paulina Luna, Greg Steube, or Cory Mills in Florida's Republican congressional contingent?

It is baseless because the 8 month old tweet you posted does not provide “evidence of the underlying narrative.”

If you believe Luna, Steube, and Mills should be emulated you are less serious than I gave you credit for.

I believe that the tweet combined with an extensive history of the cozy relationship between the SHT, Florida Politics and Vern Buchanan does clearly provide evidence of the underlying narrative.

I do believe that Luna, Steube and Mills are setting great examples of Florida's conservative values for the districts they represent.

We probably won't see eye to eye on these things, but I do appreciate the dialogue and I believe that the discourse is important.

Except you haven’t demonstrated an “extensive history of the cozy relationship between the SHT, Florida Politics and Vern Buchanan.”

Also, their job is not to set an example but to legislate. Authoring legislation and getting it passed into law is what members of Congress are supposed to do. Doing that effectively requires maintaining relationships with those who do not agree with you on every issue, even members of the “establishment uniparty.”

Even as we speak. Florida Politics writes another attack piece in line with SHT and Vern Buchanan's campaign manager. You can't make this stuff up. Here's my response on X:.

@Fla_Pol

with

@PeterSchorschFL

and his network of pay-for-play reporters including

@jacobogles

have received their orders from

@anthonypedicini

and his company SIMWINS. They are now dutifully attacking Vern Buchanan's political opponent, me, with tenuous arguments.

Jacob correctly states that I pay my son to work for the campaign and then colors it with the words "more conspicuously." Puuuuhhhhlease.

I've given $500,000 to my campaign and paid people close to me to help with that effort. There is nothing wrong with this. If I were using somebody else's money donated for a different purpose and funneling it to my relatives, that would be something different. Jacob, is your reporting so biased that you can't even recognize that this is as clean and above board as you can get? There isn't even any basis for fraudulent activity here.

While you're reporting on the facts is miles above

@swalker_7

of the

@HeraldTribune

, your corrupt bias is clear. There is nothing fraudulent or hidden with my campaign, and yet you attack with insinuation and innuendo.

On the other hand.

@VernBuchanan

has been listed on Business Insider's list of top 20 Most Corrupt members of Congress for as long as that list existed, and your response for years has been...crickets.
